For Insurance Clients

Where permitted by law, clients may access value-added cyber risk support designed for loss mitigation and incident preparedness. Services are offered in a non-discriminatory manner and are not contingent on the purchase of insurance.

This page explains what may be available and how to engage. Availability and scope vary by state and carrier.

What May Be Available (Illustrative)

Where permitted, clients may access:

Risk Triage & Prioritization

Not sure where to start or what matters most? We help you cut through vendor noise and focus on controls that reduce real risk for your specific business context.

Incident Readiness & Coordination

When something happens (or might be happening), you need clear guidance fast. We help you understand what you're dealing with, what your options are, and what steps to take next. Our advisory does not adjust, negotiate, or settle insurance claims and is not legal advice. We support your internal decision-making and documentation; we do not act as or replace a public adjuster or attorney.

Controls Guidance

Questions about MFA, backups, endpoint protection, email security, vendor risk, or other defensive measures? We provide practical, vendor-neutral guidance on what works and what doesn't.

Risk Mitigation Focus

We help you understand how security controls support loss mitigation and operational resilience objectives that align with insurance risk management principles.

Vendor Evaluation Support

Evaluating a security tool, service provider, or technology decision? We help you ask the right questions and avoid common pitfalls.

Policy & Process Review

Need someone to review your incident response plan, acceptable use policy, or backup procedures? We provide feedback grounded in operational reality and best practices.

How to Engage

Email us at the contact address on our contact page with "Client Cyber Advisory" in the subject line.

Be specific about what you need. The more context you provide, the better we can help.

Expect pragmatic guidance, not perfection. Our goal is to help you make progress with the resources and constraints you actually have.

What Value-Added Support Covers

Value-added support is guidance and strategic decision support designed for loss mitigation. This includes risk triage, controls prioritization, incident readiness coordination, and vendor-neutral recommendations. It does not include hands-on implementation, deep technical work, or ongoing managed services.

Examples of Value-Added Support (Where Available)

"We got an email that looks like a phishing attempt. What should we do?" → We'll walk you through how to verify, what to check, and what steps to take.

"Our insurer is asking about our backup strategy. What do they want to see?" → We'll provide guidance on backup best practices and documentation approaches.

"A vendor wants to connect to our network. What questions should we ask?" → We'll give you a practical checklist and help you evaluate the risk.

"We're a small FBO. What are the top 3 security controls we should focus on?" → We'll give you a prioritized list based on your operational reality and risk profile.

"We think we might have been compromised. What do we do first?" → We'll provide immediate decision support and help you determine next steps and document your response appropriately.
